Grace is a professionally Certified Labour Doula, a trained Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator and an Association of Placenta Preparation Arts (APPA) Certified Placenta Specialist. She is a member in good standing of CAPPA, APPA, and the Ontario Professional Doula Association. Grace has her Lactation Management Certification through the world-renowned INFACT Canada, based on the WHO / UNICEF Guidelines. She is also a Certified HypnoBirthing® Doula.
Having experienced three very different births of her own (epidural, natural childbirth, and cesarean), and various postpartum experiences (postpartum depression, baby blues), Grace understands the anxiety and confusion that can sometimes be associated with childbirth and becoming new parents. This is why she is so passionate about sharing her knowledge, skill and experience with others during the wonderful, but sometimes overwhelming transitional stage of life. Grace feels that with the proper support and with placenta encapsulation, women have a great chance of having a wonderful postnatal experience.
On her free time Grace volunteers at the Credit Valley Hospital in the Birthing Suites and at Heartland, A Church Connected. She loves to spend time with her family. Grace also loves to play sports and travel. She spends much of her free time supporting her very active family on the volleyball court and Frisbee fields.

Thanks so much Grace. I truly feel that the placenta pills are helping me with my energy levels these first few weeks with baby Gabby.

After witnessing hundreds of births, Sarah has observed that birth and parenthood can be a positively transformative chapter of life and one to be proud of. She encourages her birth clients to access their inner power and voice by practicing mindful meditation, gratitude and learning how to challenge the body and mind in preparation for labour.
Sarah also shares her passion for fitness and mindfulness by teaching and training teachers in Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga. She stays current with changing research and trends by attending continuing education workshops on birth and women’s health related topics. She also assists families with Postpartum support, breastfeeding and teaches Childbirth Education classes with a more customized and holistic approach. Sarah believes the three most valuable aspects of Mother and Family care are: Up-to-date information, quality time, and continuous loving support. As your Doula, Sarah will wholeheartedly support you and the decisions you make throughout your pregnancy, labour and postnatal time. She will always make the time to listen and answer your questions and worries. Sarah understands that pregnancy, childbirth and caring for a newborn are life changing events for a family, which is why her support is thorough, patient and well researched. Sarah’s kindness and compassion before, during, and after was amazing! We feel so lucky to have had her support us on this journey! She provided much needed physical support during labour and her knowledge of the process and options were undeniably helpful!
Sheridan comes with a wealth of knowledge from raising her own four children and working as a registered nurse. She is a Certified Postpartum Doula with CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association), a Certified Infant Sleep Educator and has completed the Sick Kids Infant Mental Health Community Training. Sheridan is also a volunteer with the Peel Region Breastfeeding Companion Program.
Sheridan brings a soothing peace to new families as she calmly assists the new parent with infant care. When working with your family Sheridan will help you understand how your baby’s brain develops, and things that help or hinder this amazing process. For example did you know your baby’s brain is only 25% developed at birth? Sheridan will also teach you a gentle approach to getting your baby to sleep and help you understand all about sleep regressions.
By drawing on her knowledge and our resources, Sheridan will answer all your questions and concerns regarding maternal recovery and your baby. She is there to help with either bottle or breastfeeding.
Her goal is to help your home run smoothly by taking care of practical needs as you bond with your baby. Making meals, organizing baby and home spaces as well as caring for older children and pets are just a few of the things she can do for you. She enjoys working with older children and is well suited for those having baby number two or three!
We had Sheridan come in to help us for the two weeks after our baby was born, and we can safely say we would not have survived without her! She has a wonderful, calm and relaxed presence that puts everyone at ease, including baby. Her wealth of knowledge and expertise about babies and breast feeding is a wonderful resource and confidence builder for first time parents. Without expectation or request, Sheridan quietly went about household tasks, ensuring everything was in hand during the chaotic first days home – she often went above and beyond without being asked. We can’t thank her enough for the help she provided our family as we got settled into life with a newborn. We highly, highly recommend her services to anyone.
Caitlin is a fun loving mother to two spirited little boys and two amazing step-children. Caitlin’s journey as a Lactation Consultant began after the birth of her first son. His birth had impacted her life greatly. While her son stayed apart from her in the intensive care unit, the best way Caitlin could be a mother to him was to breastfeed him. Their breastfeeding relationship continued to grow and they breastfed for over two years. It was during this time, that Caitlin realized how much of an impact breastfeeding has on both baby and mother and how she wanted to help mothers with their breastfeeding goals. Caitlin left her teaching career to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Caitlin strongly believes in helping mothers achieve their breastfeeding goals. For Caitlin, there is no greater joy than to watch a mother cradle her newborn and lovingly stare deep into their eyes.
Caitlin’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Education, Lactation Educator Certification through CAPPA, and she is an IBCLC. In 2015 she joined the Graceful Birth team to expand her reach and offer breastfeeding education and support to families in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) including Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Brampton and Milton.
Her passion for wanting to support families began when she learned first-hand the lifestyle changes that came with having children of her own. Her daytime and nighttime support are built on a foundation of health and wellness along with a knowing that each family is unique and they should be empowered to make their own parenting choices and feel confidant in them. Her heart is grateful when she spends time with a family providing them reassurance and guidance and there is a sense of peace and joy when she leaves.
