With the most loving and supportive husband and best friend, I thought that my bases would be covered in labour, but how wrong I was…….thank god for my Doula, Grace. I experienced 5 days of induced labour and was in a great deal of pain. Grace was a calm and reassuring force that got me through each and every contraction. She knew just how to talk and touch me to manage my pain. Her tens machine was an indispensable device that made the 5 days so much more bearable. Thanks to her, my husband also made it through delivery alive.Thank you Grace for helping me bring into this world my most precious daughter……….I probably could have done it without you, but I and my husband would have been worse off for sure.
